Paint My Park - Concept Feedback

Paint My Park is a pilot initiative funded by the NSW Government, aimed at reducing illegal graffiti at skateparks by engaging young people in the creative transformation of these spaces. Through a collaborative design process, local youth from the community will work alongside professional local artists to co-create vibrant mural concepts. By giving young people ownership and a voice in shaping their environment, the project not only promotes positive artistic expression but also helps make the skatepark more inclusive, welcoming, and respected by its users.

Young people from the Bateau Bay community have come together with a local artist to co-design a series of vibrant mural concepts for the Bato Yard skatepark and before we bring them to life at the park, we’re inviting feedback from the community to make sure the final murals truly represent the voices and visions of local young people who use the space.

Now we want to hear from YOU!

Let us know what you love, what could be improved, and any ideas you think would make the murals even more meaningful for the community. Whether you skate, hang out at the park, or just love street art — your opinion matters.

Sharing your thoughts only takes a few minutes, and your feedback will help shape the final look of the skatepark.
